I was reminded of this subject by a discussion I had with m (“the nurse”) yesterday. I was telling her how it reminded me of how I had to learn and practice talking in phrases (short) at first and very slowly – for a long time all those years (50 +) ago. Why she says I love reciting “short sharp” quotes so much nowdays (“You can’t live by quotes, craig”)…instead of “blurbing out” attempting to construct medium-long sentences in my speech (like “normal” writers??) and also having difficulties in telling/sharing stories verbally. See asphasia and dysphasia in Google searches). And that’s why writing suits me best!
